# Harvard Muon Tub

The Harvard Muon Tub (HMT) is a testbed for digital optical modules, most often those used in neutrino telescopes.

It consists of a 6-foot-diameter light-tight acrylic water tank which can be filled with filtered, chilled water. There is a small crane to deploy various optical detectors for testing.

Currently, it is in the commissioning phase. We are performing light-tightness tests and constructing a muon tagging system.
