I am a Latvian particle physics enthusiast currently based in Geneva. I received my B.S. in physics and mathematics from University of Arizona and my MASt in physics from the University of Cambridge. I am currently working on high rate readout tests of the ATLAS New Small Wheel trigger processor setup at CERN. Prior to joining the Harvard ATLAS group I worked on testing a track assisted jet re-clustering algorithm, TAR, in analysis (Cambridge). I also did some R&D simulation work on the ATLAS FCALs (Arizona). Besides my interest in fast moving particles traveling in circles, I used to try to propel myself around a track as fast as I could. In 2018 I managed to run 800m at a pace of 2.383E-8 times the speed of light and be ranked 989th in the world for an entire week.
