Miaochen (Andy) Jin

Andy was born and grew up in Beijing, China. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Chicago with B.A. in Physics, B.S. in mathematics, and minor in Computer Science. Since his third year in college he has been interested in neutrino physics. He is currently working with Professor Carlos Arguelles on the IceCube Collaboration. His passion includes neutrino phenomenology and machine learning as a new approach to data analysis. Aside from research, he also enjoys sports in general, chess, computer gaming, and is a huge fan of anime.
