Nicolò Foppiani was born in Genova, Italy. He received a Bachelor's degree in Physics at the University of Pisa in 2015 and a Master's degree in Physics, specialization of fundamental interactions and particle physics, at the University of Pisa in 2017. In the same period he got the prestigious scholarship at Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa (Italy), being a student in the science class. From beginning 2018, as a PhD student in physics, he joined the MicroBooNE collaboration, working on detecting electron neutrinos with liquid argon technology.
