Postdoctoral Fellow
Rongkun Wang

Rongkun grew up in a city called Fuzhou in Fujian, China. He obtained his B.S. and Ph.D. in physics from USTC. During his Ph.D., he worked on the ATLAS experiment on the LHC, focusing on Z boson pair decaying to four-lepton final state in Higgs and Standard model analyses. He also played a major role in sTGC electronics integration for the New Small Wheel upgrade project.

After joining LPPC in late 2020, he continues to work on the commissioning of New Small Wheel and starts an analysis searching for rare standard model tri-boson production. He is also going to contribute to the Higgs combination effort. In his spare time, he enjoys outdoor activities like skiing, hiking and climbing.
